In partnership with practitioner and Minister-in-Training Joyce Heist, the Rev. Van Austin is launching the Paradise Coast Center for Spiritual Living, in Naples, with Sunday gatherings at 10 a.m. at the Calistoga Bakery Café, 7941 Airport Road.

Austin, who holds a doctorate degree in psychology, has been on staff at two New Thought churches, served as a senior minister of a church in the Denver area and hosted years of radio and television shows, interviewing spiritual luminaries Dr. Wayne Dyer, Thomas Moore and Dr. Bernie Segal, as well as Marianne Williamson, Mary Manin Morrissey and Dan Millman, among others.

“The Centers for Spiritual Living honor the common truths of all spiritual paths, including Christianity,” says Austin. “My vision is to create a spiritual center in which this strong, joyful consciousness is taught and exemplified. Because music is such an inspiring force and universal language, it will be a major presence in the church as we evolve. The Center’s mission is to support and empower transformation for each individual toward being his or her truest and best self.”
