The sixth annual Lee County Urban Farm Tour, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., March 14, will bus participants to various growing operations—ranging from aquaponic tilapia, hydroponic fruits and vegetables, community production and fruit orchards—to learn more about locally grown food. Conducted by the University of Florida/IFAS Lee County Extension Office, the event will include produce tastings at all stops and a barbecue lunch.
