Keys Plastic Surgery & Dermatology, owned by John D. Verghese, M.D., has opened at 9975 Tamiami Trail North, Suite 4, in the NorthParke Centre, in Naples Park. A grand opening will take place after the new year.

Verghese served a five-year residency in general surgery at the Cleveland Clinic and a two-year fellowship in plastic surgery at St. Louis University, during which he was also chief of plastic surgery at the St. Louis Veterans Affairs hospital. He has been in practice for nearly 15 years at two other offices in Marathon and Key West, Florida, and is seeing patients locally in the same office where his sister, longtime plastic surgeon Dr. Alexia Marciano, practiced for many years.

Verghese intends to make his new office his primary practice and residence. Services include eyelid surgery; mini-facelift; injectables; SmartSkin laser that addresses fine lines, aging and sun-damaged skin; HydroFacial MD; and skin cancer screenings, diagnosis and treatment.
