A new psychotherapy group for men and women living with depression is forming in the Bonita Springs area this month. Board-certified Clinical Nurse Specialist and Psychotherapist Peg Walsh is accepting participants for the program.

The days and times of weekly meetings involving five to nine participants will be set once preferences are determined. Individuals must be stable or in treatment with a medical provider or primary therapist.

The group format fosters understanding for participants that they are not alone in their depression, and is an opportunity to find support in addition to their individual therapist or medical provider. No insurance is accepted, but some insurance policies, including Medicare, will reimburse the client for out-of-network providers.  

Cost: $100 for initial session (required for applicants) to discuss goals and $50 for each 1.5-hour meeting. Location: Executive Center, 9990 Coconut Rd. For more information, call 718-208-6986.
