The Firefly Within Foundation, operated by Firefly Within LLC, a Bonita Springs-based nonprofit education organization that offers free workshops, seminars and events, is accepting applications for scholarships this month. Valued at more than $800, the scholarships include wellness coaching, one, two-hour biofeedback session, five, one-hour biofeedback sessions and two, 45-minute reiki sessions. They will be awarded to one individual in December, with sessions beginning in January and continuing on a quarterly basis.

“Alternative health sessions can be costly, as they are often not covered by insurance,” says Certified Biofeedback Specialist and foundation member Karin Wolfe, a representative of Young Living Essentials who, with associate Dan Gorny, are reiki masters with more than 15 years of combined experience in holistic wellness coaching. “We urge anyone willing to make a commitment to change their physical or emotional health to apply. It’s a partnership in which the client will actively participate in their own wellness journey.”
