Concert Supports Storytellers Creative Arts Programs

Annie Moses

Storytellers Creative Arts, Inc., will present the nationally acclaimed Annie Moses Band in a benefit concert at 7:30 p.m., November 11, at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall, in Fort Myers. The event will support the nonprofit organization’s arts outreach programs, along with mental health, homelessness and recovery efforts for individuals in Lee and Collier counties, including the David Lawrence Center and St. Matthew’s House.

More than 65 volunteer artists, musicians, writers, performers, trained mental health counselors and other professionals that serve in the arts ministry reach hundreds of the underprivileged, homeless and those in recovery, including those in Immokalee. Along with further incorporation with St. Matthew’s House and David Lawrence, programs will reach other related agencies in both counties and beyond.

Approximately 25 to 30 people attend monthly, weekly and biweekly classes in art, music, drama, culinary skills, dance, creative writing, drama and other artistic disciplines.

Tickets cost $25 to $67. Location: Florida Southwestern College, 13350 FSW Pkwy. For tickets, call the box office at 239-481-4849 or visit bbmannpah.com. For more information, call 239-591-6649, email [email protected] or visit StorytellersCreativeArts.org.
