Permaculture Convergence Comes to Estero

Florida Edible Landscaping will conduct the South Florida Permaculture Convergence from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., February 18 and 19, at the Happehatchee Center, in Estero. The program includes workshops on wild medicinal and edible plants, wood-fired oven building, medicinal tinctures and ferments, tropical fruit, the yoga of plants and many other subjects related to edible and useful plants in South Florida.  

A live performance by Lobo Marino, a visiting duo playing percussion instruments and singing, will also take place. The goal of the event is to build relationships between people interested in permaculture and strengthen resiliency as a community.
