Southwest Florida communities can build bridges across divides and reestablish bonds of trust, love and caring. Naples resident Yolanda Beckers, a meditation teacher and leader of workshops on related subjects, suggests that we become Earth angels and exercise our human potential to create a world we all value. “When, one by one, we learn how to raise the frequency of our energy through the America Grows Wings, in Love We Trust program, which is intended to increase awareness, mindfulness and love, as well as cultivate virtues and values within, we can shine our amplified light into the darkness to dispel fear,” says Beckers, whose nonprofit Health and Wellness Sanctuary of Naples conducts programs for adults and children.

To help create a better world in challenging times, the American Grows Wings, in Love We Trust program is being launched locally in schools, businesses, colleges, universities and hospitals. After completing the program, participants and organizations will have an option to purchase a beautiful statue of wings as a symbol for belonging and supporting the program. “Each participant can stand behind the wings and pledge, ‘I will create the energy of love by eliminating fear in my life and working to do the same for others. I respectfully accept my wings so that I can become an angel of love to create a better world in my community,’” explains Beckers.

University Programs

Programs for universities balance right- and left-brain activities, stimulate natural intelligence and problem-solving abilities and build a heart/mind connection.

School Programs for ages 4 through 18

Beckers feels that today, children especially need programs to support emotional stability, develop life skills (values and virtues) and promote heart relationships. “Our program helps kids grow up with self-worth. Through communication, art, acting and storytelling, kids learn how they are in charge of their own happiness and well-being. They also receive tools that benefit them for the rest of their lives,” notes Beckers.

Hospital Programs

For hospital staffs that are stretched to the limit, America Grows Wings offers relaxation techniques that stimulate mindfulness and promote positive communications. Participants learn that in every action, the energy of love can flow and provide many benefits, not only for staff, but also for patients.

Business Programs

Businesses can learn how to improve their focus by creating mindfulness, stress reduction, positive thinking, attentive listening, kindness, love and compassion within the work environment.
