Natural Awakenings Naples and Fort Myers

Disempower Energy Vampires

Constance Clancy

For individuals that want to learn resilience techniques and how to disempower self-centered and self-absorbed energy vampires that drain their energy, Constance Clancy, Ed.D., a practicing psychotherapist in Fort Myers and Sanibel, and local artist Katie Gardenia will present a workshop, Disempower Energy Vampires Who Surround You and Reclaim Yourself Through the Art of Resilience, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., January 19, at Tween Waters Inn Resort , on Captiva Island.

“Empaths, who are highly sensitive, creative, optimistic and compassionate, are targets for energy vampires. Frequently metaphysical and skilled healers with a great work ethic, resourcefulness, a can-do attitude, empaths feel the energy of others and easily connect with nature, children, and animals,” says Clancy.

Participants will learn how to recognize an energy vampire as well as gain an understanding of why they are targets. They will also learn how to set boundaries and protect themselves in addition to techniques for healing and clearing old wounds and understanding what it means to be resilient and empowered.

Founder of the Bubble Room Restaurant, on Captiva Island, and the author of A Bubble Moment, Gardenia is nationally recognized for her one-of-a-kind art creations, including dolls. She will create a custom healing energy doll for each participant.

Clancy, author of The Gift of Change, has been a psychotherapist in Fort Myers and Sanibel/Captiva for 25 years. She commutes between Aspen, Colorado, and Sanibel, and specializes in healing from trauma, anxiety disorders, managing stress and narcissistic abuse recovery.
