Guasha Improves Energy Circulation and Immunity
Guasha is a modality within Traditional Chinese Medicine that uses a smooth tool to press and stroke a lubricated area of the body. In the process of stimulating the immune energy, as well as removing toxins and inflammation, this creates a temporary, but therapeutic red or purple spot on the skin called sha.
Guasha is typically performed on the neck, shoulders, chest and back area, but sometimes also the face. It is useful for any respiratory, digestive, muscular skeletal issues,or for a general detoxification of the body.
