Winter Solstice is the celebration of the coming of winter, which marks the shortest day and longest night of the year. It not only defines the change of the season, but also a change in spiritual perception, representing a shedding, a releasing, allowing the leaves to fall. It is symbolic of our shift as we release and allow our new intentions for the coming year to be illuminated and called forth.

Please join us in your native roots or indigenous attire – such as Native American, Celtic, Woodland, Yule, Gods & Goddesses, or your favorite jeans & T-shirt for an afternoon of ceremony and fun as we gather together to begin this journey right here & now!

Event Highlights:
• Opening ceremony with tea & bottled water provided
• Nature walk & group creation of an altar to honor Mother Earth
• Sage blessing, labyrinth walk & meditation
• Drum circle with fire pit & dancing
• Alchemy crystal bowl meditation
• Closing ceremony and community potluck

This event is open to all. Suggested love offering is $20, but no one will be turned away.

Bring Along:
• A mat, blanket, pillow or beach chair for comfort
• A dish to share (please label ingredients)
• Bringing your own instrument of any kind is highly encouraged – we are looking for volunteers to contribute to the drum circle with bongos, congas, rattles, egg shakers, etc.
