As part of Lee Memorial Health System’s Healthy Lee initiative, internationally recognized nutritional speaker Michael Greger, M.D., will deliver two free presentations in Fort Myers on how nutrition can help prevent, treat and reverse disease, and offer practical advice on proper nutrition. The events will take place at noon at the Heights Center and 5:30 p.m. at the Lee County District School Board Office, both on February 25.

Greger, a founding member and fellow of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and director of public health and animal agriculture at the Humane Society of the United States, has lectured at the Conference on World Affairs, testified before Congress and was invited as an expert witness in defending Oprah Winfrey in the infamous “meat defamation” trial. His latest book is How Not to Die.
