A Climate Change Workshop led by Dr. Harold Wanless and Dr. John Capece, will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., February 17, at the Green Sanctuary of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Naples. Participants will learn about rising sea levels, flooding, water conservation, storm mitigation, Everglades preservation, fracking, forest fires and carbon emissions.

Wanless, chair of the geology department of the University of Miami and former chair of the Miami-Dade Climate Change Task Force, and Capece, president of the Campus Climate Corps and chairman of the Democratic Environmental Caucus, Southwest Florida Chapter, will conduct a hands-on, individualized workshop.
