Natural Awakenings Naples and Fort Myers

Farmadelica Sound is a Musical Oasis in Paradise

Farmadelica Sound is a cutting-edge, full-service recording facility located in Bokeelia, on Pine Island. The recording studio, owned by 30-year music industry veteran Howard “Merlin” Wulkan and his wife Lainie Sevante Wulkan, president of the Holistic Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Florida, produces music under three different labels, as well as offering  audio recording, editing, mixing and mastering in addition to promotional videos, radio, television and online commercial production, branded IDs and theme songs, audio books, affirmations/prayers/meditations, marketing strategies, brand consultation, packaging design and layout for CDs and vinyl, plus meditations, affirmations, audio books, commercials, podcasts and global marketing. “We also have distribution worldwide through Amplified Distribution. In this business, it’s rare to find all these services in one place,” says Lainie.

Farmadelica Sound is a continuation of Wulkan’s former studio based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A producer, composer and BMI-registered songwriter, Wulkan has assembled a wonderful team, which includes Howie Beno, Bill Wright and his sons Liam and Cameron Wright.

Beno is a re-recording mixer, audio editor and recording engineer whose multifaceted career spans broadcast, live sound, commercials, feature soundtracks and multi-platinum albums. His studio proficiency is rooted in both bleeding-edge digital technology and the timeless craftsmanship of classic film and music production.

Bill Wright, director of business affairs at Farmadelica Sound, LLC, grew up in Fort Myers. No stranger to recording studios, he built his own while pursuing a music career in New York City.

Fort Myers native Liam Wright is an artist and filmmaker. The graduate of University of the Central Florida (UCF) film school is a musician experienced in the local indie music scenes of Southwest and Central Florida.

Also a graduate of UCF, Cameron Wright has produced and directed three short films and specializes in stop-motion animation. He is also the former bassist for the rock band Midnite Monsoon.

“Farmadelica Sound is an ever-growing creative community we are establishing here on the 40-acre palm tree farm. It’s a creator’s paradise and safe haven where we’re all about the art of record making. I like to combine old school and new school techniques to give the best possible sonic options to each client. I’m honored to be a part of the community and look forward to bringing artists from all over the world to our neck of the woods,” enthuses Howard.
