Proudest Achievement: Maintaining my relationship with my now wife, who I met 26 years ago when I was working in Czechoslovakia and she in the Bahamas.
Expectations for the future: To watch my daughter become a successful musician and getting to see her perform from front row seats!
Favorite websites: Conservancy.org, Ewe.org (Environmental Working Group)
Local or global causes supported: Berklee Institute for Arts Education and Special Needs, Southwest Florida Music Education Center, Conservancy of Southwest Florida
Favorite thing about Natural Awakenings: Inspiring quotes and stories each month that broaden my perspective of the world.
Most frequented healthy food restaurant: True Foods Kitchen
How you invest in your community: I have created a new nonprofit organization, Southwest Florida Music Education Center, to create new opportunities for high school and college level students to learn how to collaborate across disciplines and instruments, as well as compose original content and share this with the world. We also seek to create new avenues for students with learning differences to fully participate and realize musical aspirations.
Favorite inspirational quote: “If music be the food of love, play on!” William Shakespeare
What you are doing to be the change you want to see in the world: I am trying to keep my ego in check at all times and to be clear regarding setting my intentions on a daily basis in all that I do.
