Garden Club of Cape Coral Annual Plant and Garden Sale
March in the Park, the Garden Club of Cape Coral’s 18th annual plant and garden sale, will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 14, 2026, in Rotary Park. The event, which will make 1,000-plus plants grown by club members in their own yards available for purchase plus offer many local craft and garden vendors, a raffle drawing of two valuable gardening prizes, kids’ booth, food vendors and gardening-related thrift items, will raise funds to support the club’s sponsorship of library gardens, Sands Park’s butterfly garden, the rose garden at the Cape Coral Museum of History and student scholarships.
The plants are highly affordable and disease-free and perfect for South Florida gardening. All plants are labeled carefully with the name of the plant and their best growing conditions. Master Gardeners will be on hand to provide advice on the best plants for one’s landscape and how to grow them.
Club members are dressed in special, bright, yellow shirts with the club’s logo and decorated summer hats so they can be easily found by attendees that have questions. There will also be vendor prizes and music.
“Our Garden Club has members from all parts of the country as well as native Floridians,” says President Sylvia Swartz. “We have a wealth of wisdom to share. Together, we explore the uniqueness of Southwest Florida’s diversity of plant life and challenges of the climate, learning from one another and our visiting speakers.”
Location: 5505 Rose Garden Rd., Cape Coral. For more information, visit GardenClubOfCapeCoral.com.
