Natural Awakenings Naples and Fort Myers

FL-iCAN! Assembly Explores Regenerative Living

The Florida Interfaith Climate Actions Network (FL-iCAN!) will hold its seventh annual assembly, “The Economy of Earth: Learning from Creation for Better Living,” September 25-26, 2026, at Cornerstone United Methodist Church, in Naples. The gathering brings together faith leaders and community members from across Florida to explore how natural lifecycles can inspire more regenerative approaches to economics and environmental stewardship.

This two-day event will examine alternatives to economic models centered on profit, extraction and exploitation, drawing on the idea of the earth as a shared household. Participants will engage with expert speakers, breakout sessions, community organizing, spiritual practices and justice-focused field trips. Topics will include Beloved Creation, church gardening, local climate action and interfaith approaches to environmental advocacy.

The assembly offers opportunities to network, share ideas and develop climate actions that can be carried into local communities. Teams are encouraged to attend and grow their collective capacity for meaningful change.

Cost: $129.  Location: 8200 Immokalee Rd., Naples. For more information and to register (required), visit bit.ly/FLiCAN.
