For more than three decades, Silver Eagle Gallery has been part of the fabric of Fifth Avenue South, welcoming generations of Naples residents and visitors in search of handcrafted Native American jewelry, extraordinary crystals, rare minerals, and one-of-a-kind treasures.

In September 2026, the longtime family-owned gallery began a new chapter, relocating from 850 Fifth Avenue South to 780 Seagate Drive.

The move occurred during another important transition for Silver Eagle. Longtime Naples manager and creative director Heather Neils recently purchased the Florida gallery from founders Craig and Deborah Nelson, carrying the family business into its next generation.

Silver Eagle’s story began more than 50 years ago when Craig and Deborah opened a small gallery featuring plants, local art, handmade pottery, and Native American jewelry. Their passion eventually took them throughout the American Southwest, where they developed lasting relationships with Native American artists and traders.

The family opened its Naples gallery in 1996, and it soon became a destination for collectors, visitors, and locals. Over the years, Silver Eagle continued to evolve. Heather, a former professional fashion photographer in New York, joined the family business, developed its online presence, and became manager and creative director of the Naples gallery in 2012.

The addition of crystals, fossils, gems, and minerals transformed the business once again. The collection grew so significantly that in 2016 Silver Eagle moved from 650 Fifth Avenue South to the larger 850 Fifth Avenue South location.

A decade later, the gallery is evolving again.

Today, as owner of Silver Eagle Gallery’s Florida operations, Heather sees the move to Seagate Drive as an opportunity to reimagine what a gallery experience can be. The new location will showcase Silver Eagle’s signature Native American and contemporary jewelry alongside an expanded gem and mineral collection—but Heather’s plans reach beyond traditional retail.

Ideas for the new space include a Crystal Energy Garden on the front patio, craft coffee, champagne and local food pop-ups, workshops, artist demonstrations, wellness events, and community gatherings.

“We’ve always believed that people come into Silver Eagle looking for something beautiful, but they leave with a story,” Heather said. “My dream is to create a place where people gather, learn, celebrate, and feel inspired. I want Silver Eagle to be more than a gallery—I want it to become one of Southwest Florida’s most unique destinations.”

Heather is already thinking about Silver Eagle’s future beyond Naples and is exploring the possibility of a second Florida location in downtown Bonita Springs within the next few years.

After more than 30 years on Fifth Avenue, Silver Eagle didn’t simply change addresses. It honored more than five decades of family history while creating something new for the next generation of Southwest Florida.
