Go Forest Bathing is offering the outdoor wellness program on the first and second Saturdays from now through May at two Collier County locations. The healthy activity, each led by a locally experienced certified guide, will be held on the Snail Trail along Henderson Creek at the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center (300 Tower Road) from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on November 7, 2026, December 5, 2026, January 2, 2027, February 6, 2027, March 6, 2027, April 3, 2027, and May 1, 2027; and at the 26-acre Unity of Naples campus (2000 Unity Way) from 10 a.m. to noon on November 14, 2026, December 12, 2026, January 9, 2027, February 13, 2027, March 13, 2027, and April 10, 2027.

Forest bathing—a slow, quiet, sensory experience with nature that incorporates guided meditation and based on the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku—has proven physical and mental health benefits that can include reducing stress and anxiety, improving cardiovascular and immune health, enhancing sleep, and reaching mental clarity. It’s an alternative “wellness in the woods” therapy that incorporates guided meditation, mindfulness and a proven sequence of activities that will help forge reconnection with nature and oneself.

Participants will use all five senses plus imagination and intuition to explore the natural world and reflect on what is in their heart. Though the group will be together, each person will have their own forest bathing journey.
